MATREX
Hot Mix Release Agent is a unique water based polymer for
use in trucks carrying hot mix asphalt from plant to work
site.
MATREX
possesses excellent lubrication properties allowing for the
immediate release of hot mixes from truck beds and tailgates,
pavers and compactors, eliminating the use of diesel oil
and other cutbacks.
MATREX
is an effective, less expensive alternative to diesel fuel.
MATREX
is biodegradable, non-toxic, safe to use on all metal surfaces,
and is not harmful to paint, rubber, skin and clothing.
MATREX
Hot Mix Release Agent concentrate is dispersed using MATREX
Valve Proportioner or any other type of suitable dispensing
equipment.
The standard
dilution rate is 20 parts water (60 psi) to 1 part MATREX
concentrate.
MATREX
is sprayed directly onto the truck bed and other equipment
with wide sweeping passes of the spray wand prior to loading.
Typical spray time is about 35 seconds for tandem. Larger
trucks may require additional spraying time.
