Organization has established a commitment to provide the
highest quality machinery available to produce Matrex
Permanent Cold Patch and other unique Products.
In
the evolution of our technology we have been able to establish
alternative methods in the production, packaging and supply
to our global network of producers. Our MatrexStar Machinery & Equipment
Division develops the engineered requirements for each associate
to offer an effective production facility.
  
Originally
the Matrex Permanent Cold Patch was only produced through
hot mix asphalt plants. However, our organization through
the improvement of the technology has established an alternative
method that lowers production costs and offers wider flexibility
in remote areas, climates and most importantly is portable.
The MatrexStar Pugmill is a very unique piece of machinery,
which is simply a combination of the hot mix batch plant
and constant mixing facilities. These units are a continuous
production with large pugmill mixers at the discharge section.
MatrexStar Pugmills are available with complete storage and
blending tanks for our 30 ton, 100 ton, and 300 ton models
which offer ideal production of our material. These unique
mixers are also capable of mixing and blending bituminous
emulsions, sand/ salt mixtures, recycled pavement and contaminated
soil processing.
  
Matrex
Permanent Cold Patch is available from the stockpile in bulk,
however we have developed our automated system for the prepackaging
in bags, drums and tote bags. The MatrexStar Bagging Plant
is a dual V-Hopper/Conveyor System designed for packaging
the Matrex Permanent Cold Patch into poly bags. The conveyor
system feeds into two weigh heads, which accurately weigh
and shut off at the correct weight when filling bags. Capable
of filling, 1,200 bags per 8 hours shift. Once the bag is
filled, a conveyor carries the bag and a dual belt teflon
heat sealer seals the bag to make a water-tight packaged
material. Designed for indoor use, this durable steel construction
unit will offer years of life and service. It is also ideal
for packaging of sands/salts aggregates and related materials.
